Amy Adams would be perfect for the role of Taylor Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine.

Amy Adams is an ardent admirer of Taylor Swift and eagerly seeks any chance to be linked to the pop sensation. This enthusiasm is partly why Adams is open to the idea of portraying Swift’s long-serving publicist, Tree Paine, in a prospective biographical film about the musician.

During a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Adams expressed that such an opportunity would be “amazing.” “If it got me closer to Taylor, then that would be fun,” she remarked.

As the star of "Disenchanted" and a mother to a 14-year-old daughter, Adams confessed that her own admiration for Swift blossomed after attending one of her concerts. “I went to the Eras Tour, a friend of mine had a ticket,” she recounted. “And then I became like a Swiftie at 50. So I’m like a shifty Swiftie at 50.”

Adams has transitioned from simply appreciating Swift's talent to eagerly collecting “all the friendship bracelets,” she quipped.

She also reminisced about a party years ago where she and Swift sang karaoke together. Their duet was a rendition of “What’s Going On,” which Fallon assumed to be the 4 Non Blondes classic “What’s Up.” “I may have sung it a little loud,” Adams admitted. “I’m sure everybody was like, ‘Amy, shut up. Like, we want to hear Taylor sing.’”

CNN has reached out to Paine for her thoughts on the matter.
