The roster for the FireAid benefit concert—a musical gathering orchestrated to support the recovery efforts following the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles—has been disclosed.
Performers on the bill include local talents Billie Eilish, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gracie Abrams, alongside renowned artists such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Tate McRae, Earth, Wind & Fire, Green Day, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Lil Baby, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, and Stevie Nicks. Dave Matthews and John Mayer are slated to perform together for the first time.
Scheduled for January 30, the performances will occur at two venues: the Kia Forum and the newly established Intuit Dome, both nestled in the Inglewood district of Los Angeles.
The news release promises more artists and special guests will be unveiled in the days to come.
Global audiences will have the opportunity to watch, stream, and donate to FireAid through various platforms, including Apple Music, Apple TV, Max, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, and others. The event will also be aired on 860 iHeartRadio stations.
FireAid's mission is to generate funds "for reconstructing communities ravaged by wildfires and bolstering efforts to avert future fire catastrophes across Southern California," as stated in the release.
The Annenberg Foundation will oversee the distribution of funds, pledging to "coordinate a team to direct contributions for maximum impact" and offer "immediate aid and long-term strategies to prevent future fire disasters."
Recently, several lethal wildfires ravaged Los Angeles County, with the city finally experiencing relief from calmer winds on Thursday. The coastal Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire in LA's eastern region have scorched tens of thousands of acres, obliterating thousands of structures. At least 25 individuals have perished, and many remain unaccounted for, according to authorities.
Tickets for both concerts will become available on January 22 at 12 p.m. PDT through Ticketmaster.
