Live-action 'Lilo & Stitch' set to hit theaters next summer
Stitch appears primed for some mischief.
This is gleaned from the freshly unveiled teaser of the forthcoming live-action adaptation of "Lilo & Stitch."
The cherished blue alien, first brought to life in the 2002 animated classic, is depicted demolishing sand structures and engaging in general antics.
The adaptation is expected to adhere closely to the original narrative, which centers around a young girl named Lilo in Hawaii and her escapades with Stitch. Now, CGI wizardry will animate the characters.
Directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, known for "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On," the film features Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis.
Disney plans to debut the revamped "Lilo & Stitch" in the summer of 2025.
