Paul Hollywood boasts quite the roster of illustrious admirers. In a chat with The Times, the host of "The Great British Baking Show" divulged details about some celebrities he knows and one he hadn't been acquainted with. "Just last week, I received a message—‘Do you know Kylie Jenner?’ Honestly, I didn't," he confessed. "Apparently, she filmed a video on a private jet, watching 'Bake Off,' proclaiming to her 390 million fans that it's her favorite show. When you find out Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Michael J. Fox, and Lynda Carter are fans, it feels surreal. You think, isn't it odd—people in tents in the serene British countryside capturing such attention?"

He is more familiar with Lively and Reynolds. Lively personally selected Hollywood to feature in a 2023 ad for her cocktail brand, Betty Booze, and their rapport has been amicable ever since. "I hold Blake in high regard. She sends the occasional text to update me on her and Ryan's happenings," Hollywood shared. "It's delightful because, aside from their careers, they're simply a typical family, just a mom and dad to wonderful kids. They truly are genuine people."

Hollywood values this connection. "I appreciate that line of communication. I don't have a slew of celebrity pals; it's not my scene," he remarked. "I steer clear of the red-carpet affairs. I avoid the social gatherings in London. I'm not fond of London.
