Tom Holland relied on his loved ones to support his early sobriety journey
For those embracing "dry January," let Tom Holland serve as your beacon of inspiration. The "Spider-Man" luminary has maintained sobriety for over two years, as he divulged in a Men’s Health interview released Thursday. He candidly shared about the support network that bolstered his journey.
Holland embarked on this path independently, opting to cease drinking without professional intervention. "I possess a resolute willpower. It wasn’t a peaceful environment, with frequent conflicts and disagreements," he noted, specifying that the strife was unrelated to artistic disputes but refrained from elaborating further.
Amidst these challenges, he pondered, "If I resume drinking amid this chaos, it’ll only deteriorate, right?" Holland subsequently took a year-long hiatus from acting post-production of the series. Now, he’s back in the limelight, recently joining the ensemble of Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming cinematic epic, "The Odyssey.
