Danny Pintauro, renowned for his role in "Who’s the Boss?", recently revealed he required urgent surgical intervention following a mishap on a scooter. The incident occurred on Thanksgiving night, yet his condition deteriorated the following day. He took to Instagram to disclose his ordeal, posting images and videos of himself in a hospital room, connected to IVs and breathing apparatus.

Initially, he assumed his arm was fractured. However, as severe chest, stomach, and shoulder pain emerged, hindering his breathing, his husband promptly took him to the hospital. It was there that doctors identified a bloodstream infection stemming from a stomach tear.

Pintauro described the experience as the most agonizing of his life. He underwent emergency surgery overnight, which thankfully alleviated his discomfort. Post-surgery, the medical team successfully removed his breathing tube.

He acknowledged that if he had delayed seeking treatment, the outcome could have been fatal. His body signaled that something was gravely wrong, and his devoted husband, Wil, remained by his side throughout the ordeal.

Expressing gratitude, Pintauro thanked the medical professionals who cared for him, praising their exceptional service. Despite the ordeal being his first major, emergency surgery, he managed to stay composed, though he described the experience as utterly terrifying.

Fortunately, his arm was not broken. Pintauro, who captured hearts as Jonathan Bower from 1984 to 1992 alongside Tony Danza, Judith Light, and Alyssa Milano, has also appeared in “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” and the TV movie “A Country Christmas Harmony.
